Satiety after breakfast
Confidence3/5
Ordinary oatmeal has direct evidence for a more filling breakfast; this does not establish an effect of a weight-loss capsule.
Study findings. After oatmeal, subjective satiety was higher and the next lunch contained fewer calories than after dry oat breakfast cereal. Body weight over months was not assessed in this experiment.

Confidence2/5
A specific extract may have a small effect on task performance; ordinary oatmeal is not equivalent.
