inflammatory eye infections

Loteprednol (Loteprednol and Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin)) and Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin) solution is a combination of a steroid (Loteprednol (Loteprednol and Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin))) and an antibiotic (Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin)). Loteprednol (Loteprednol and Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin)) reduces swelling and inflammation. Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin) works by killing the bacteria or preventing it from growing.
Loteprednol (Loteprednol and Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin)) and Tobramycin (Loteprednol and tobramycin) is available only with your doctor's prescription.
- Loteprednol and tobramycin drops may cause blurred vision. Use Loteprednol and tobramycin drops with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks if you cannot see clearly.
- If your symptoms do not get better after 2 days or if they get worse, contact your health care provider.
- Soft contact lenses may absorb a chemical in Loteprednol and tobramycin drops. Do not wear contact lenses while you are using Loteprednol and tobramycin drops.
- Tell your doctor or dentist that you take Loteprednol and tobramycin drops before you receive any medical or dental care, emergency care, or surgery.
- Loteprednol and tobramycin drops only works against bacteria; it does not treat viral infections (eg, the common cold).
- Be sure to use Loteprednol and tobramycin drops for the full course of treatment. If you do not, the medicine may not clear up your infection completely. The bacteria could also become less sensitive to this or other medicines. This could make the infection harder to treat in the future.
- Long-term or repeated use of Loteprednol and tobramycin drops may cause a second infection. Tell your doctor if signs of a second infection occur. Your medicine may need to be changed to treat this.
- Lab tests, including eye exams, may be performed while you use Loteprednol and tobramycin drops. These tests may be used to monitor your condition or check for side effects. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Loteprednol and tobramycin drops while you are pregnant. It is not known if Loteprednol and tobramycin drops is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Loteprednol and tobramycin drops, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Precauzioni
Loteprednol (Loteprednol e Tobramycin (Loteprednol e tobramicina)) -Tobramycin (Loteprednol e tobramicina) oftalmico è controindicato nella maggior parte delle malattie virali della cornea e della congiuntiva, inclusa l'herpes simplex cheratite epiteliale (cheratite) varicella.
Si consiglia cautela se usato con glaucoma. La pressione intraoculare deve essere monitorata se utilizzata per 10 giorni o più.
I pazienti devono essere esaminati (ad es., bioomicroscopia della lampada a fessura e, se del caso, colorazione della fluoresceina) prima degli ordini di prescrizione iniziali e rinnovati. Inizialmente non devono essere prescritti più di 20 ml e la prescrizione non deve essere ricaricata senza ulteriore valutazione.
In condizioni acute di purulenti oculari, Loteprednol (Loteprednol e Tobramicina (Loteprednol e tobramicina)) -Tobramicina (Loteprednol e tobramicina) oftalmica può mascherare l'infezione o migliorare l'infezione esistente. I pazienti devono essere rivalutati se segni e sintomi non migliorano dopo 2 giorni.
Si raccomanda estrema cautela nel trattamento di pazienti con anamnesi di herpes simplex. L'uso di steroidi oculari può prolungare il decorso ed esacerbare la gravità di molte infezioni virali oculari.
Se si verifica ipersensibilità con Loteprednol (Loteprednol e Tobramicina (Loteprednol e tobramicina)) -Tobramicina (Loteprednol e tobramicina) oftalmica, l'uso deve essere interrotto e deve essere iniziata la terapia appropriata.
Sicurezza ed efficacia non sono state stabilite nei pazienti pediatrici (di età inferiore ai 18 anni).

L'invasione di funghi deve essere considerata con qualsiasi ulcerazione corneale persistente. Le colture fungine sono consigliate quando appropriato.

Rilascia il medicinale nella sacca e chiudi delicatamente gli occhi. Utilizzare immediatamente il dito per esercitare pressione sull'angolo interno della palpebra per 1-2 minuti. Non sbattere le palpebre. Rimuovere la medicina in eccesso intorno all'occhio con un tessuto pulito e asciutto, facendo attenzione a non toccare l'occhio. Lavarsi le mani per rimuovere qualsiasi medicinale che potrebbe essere su di loro.
- Per evitare che i germi contaminino il medicinale, non toccare la punta dell'applicatore su nessuna superficie, incluso l'occhio. Tenere il contenitore ermeticamente chiuso.
- Per eliminare completamente l'infezione, utilizzare Loteprednol e gocce di tobramicina per l'intero ciclo di trattamento. Continua a usarlo anche se ti senti meglio in pochi giorni.
- Le gocce di loteprednol e tobramicina vengono solitamente utilizzate per un massimo di 2 settimane. Se viene utilizzato per più di 10 giorni, potrebbero essere necessari esami oculistici.
- Se si dimentica una dose di Loteprednol e gocce di tobramicina, utilizzarla il prima possibile. Se è quasi l'ora della dose successiva, salti la dose dimenticata e torni al normale programma di dosaggio. Non usare 2 dosi contemporaneamente.
