Treatment of respiratory tract infections eg, acute bronchitis, acute sinusitis, common cold, tonsillitis.
Tablet: Adults and Children >12 years: 1 tab 3 times daily.
Children 6-12 years: 1 tab 2 times daily (morning and evening).
Syrup: Adults and Children >12 years: 7.5 mL 3 times daily.
Children 6-12 years: 5 mL 3 times daily.
Children 1-5 years: 2.5 mL 3 times daily.
After relief of the symptoms, continue taking Pelargonium Sidoides for several days in order to prevent a relapse. The total duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.
Hypersensitivity to Pelargonium Sidoides or to any of the components of Pelargonium Sidoides.
Severe hepatic or renal diseases.
Use in pregnancy & lactation: Pelargonium Sidoides should not be used during pregnancy and lactation, as no adequate studies are available.
In case of simultaneous administration of coumarin derivatives, the coagulation-inhibiting effect may be enhanced.

In very seldom cases, gastrointestinal complaints (eg, nausea, diarrhea), mild bleeding from the gingiva or nose or hypersensitivity reactions (eg, skin rash, itching) may occur.
Each tablet and 100 g syrup contain 20 mg and 250 mg of EPs® 7630, respectively, a proprietary extract of the dried roots of Pelargonium Sidoides.
