Naproxen (Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine (Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo) Hydrochloride Perrigo) is in a group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Naproxen (Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine (Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo) Hydrochloride Perrigo) works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Pseudoephedrine (Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo) is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose).
The combination of Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo is used to treat stuffy nose, sinus congestion, cough, and pain or fever caused by the common cold or flu.

Hypersensitivity to aspirin or NSAIDs. Acute GI ulceration or bleeding.
Use Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
- Take Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo by mouth with or without food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation. Taking it with food may not lower the risk of stomach or bowel problems (eg, bleeding, ulcers). Talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you have persistent stomach upset.
- Take Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo with a full glass of water (8 oz/240 mL) as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing.
- If you take antacids, cholestyramine, or sucralfate, ask your doctor or pharmacist how to take them with Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo.
- If you miss a dose of Naproxen Sodium and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride Perrigo and you are taking it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
