Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night 325 mg-2 mg-10 mg-5 mg oral caplets: 2 caplets orally every 4 hours not to exceed 12 caplets/daily

Precautions
Use with caution in patients with liver disease. Chronic use of Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) is not recommended in patients with liver disease.
The elimination of Chlorpheniramine (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) may be prolonged in patients with renal dysfunction. These patients should be monitored for excessive sedation and other adverse effects that may result from Chlorpheniramine (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) accumulation.

Cardiac disease, high BP, thyroid disease, persistent high fever.
Use Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night liquid as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
- Take Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night liquid by mouth with or without food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation.
- Use a measuring device marked for medicine dosing. Ask your pharmacist for help if you are unsure of how to measure your dose.
- If you miss a dose of Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night liquid, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night liquid.
Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) is metabolized (eliminated by conversion to other chemicals) by the liver. Therefore drugs that increase the action of liver enzymes that metabolize Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) [for example, carbamazepine (Tegretol), isoniazid (INH, Nydrazid, Laniazid), rifampin (Rifamate, Rifadin, Rimactane)] reduce the levels of Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) and may decrease the action of Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night). Doses of Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) greater than the recommended doses are toxic to the liver and may result in severe liver damage. The potential for Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) to harm the liver is increased when it is combined with alcohol or drugs that also harm the liver.
Cholestyramine (Questran) reduces the effect of Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) by decreasing its absorption into the body from the intestine. Therefore, Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) should be administered 3 to 4 hours after cholestyramine or one hour before cholestyramine.
Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) doses greater than 2275 mg per day may increase the blood thinning effect of warfarin (Coumadin) by an unknown mechanism. Therefore, prolonged administration or large doses of Acetaminophen (Codral Cold and Flu + Cough Day and Night) should be avoided during warfarin therapy
