encountered in the use of local SCS (especially occlusion dressings) : burning sensation, itching, dry skin, folliculitis, hypertrikhosis, acne, hypopigmentation, period dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, the development of secondary infection, skin atrophy, stria, sweating.
Gentamicin-conditioned : transient skin irritation (erite, itching), usually not requiring termination of treatment.
Shredded with clotrimazol : erythema, tingling sensation, the appearance of blisters, peeling, local swelling, itching, urticaria, skin irritation.
Symptoms : with prolonged use of local SCS in high doses, it is possible to suppress the function of adrenal glands with the development of secondary adrenal failure and symptoms of hypercorticism, including Kushing's syndrome.
An overdose of clotrimazole at its local use does not lead to any symptoms.
With a single overdose, gentamicin does not expect any symptoms. Long-term treatment with gentamicin in elevated doses can lead to an increase in insensitive flora.
Treatment: symptomatic. Acute symptoms of hypercorticism are usually reversible. If necessary, correct electrolyte imbalance. In the case of chronic SCS toxicity, a gradual abolition of the SCS is recommended.
Combined drug for outdoor use.
Maz and Triderm cream® combine the anti-inflammatory, anti-usual, anti-allergic and anti-exudative effects of SCS of beta metamethasone with the antifungal activity of clotrimazole and the wide antibacterial effect of sulfate gentamicin.
Clotrimazole has an antifungal effect due to impaired synthesis of ergosterin, which is an integral part of the cell membrane of mushrooms. Active in relation Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis, Candida albicans, Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare).
Gentamicin is an antibiotic of a wide range of actions from the group of aminoglycosides. It acts bactericidal and provides highly effective local treatment of primary and secondary bacterial skin infections. Active in relation to gram-negative bacteria : Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae; gram-positive bacteria : Staphylococcus aureus (coagulasopositive, coagulazonetic and some strains producing penicillinase).

The continued local use of antibiotics can sometimes lead to an increase in resistant microflora. In this case, as well as with the development of irritation, sensitization or superinfection against the background of treatment with the Triderm drug® treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy should be prescribed. Cross-allergic reactions with aminoglycoside antibiotics were observed.
Any side effects encountered in the use of system SCS, including the oppression of the function of the crust of adrenal glands, can also be noted with the local use of SCS, especially in children.
System absorption of SCS or gentamicin for local use will be higher if treatment is carried out on large areas of the skin or when using occlusion dressings, especially with prolonged treatment or violation of the integrity of the skin. Gentamicin should be avoided for open wounds and damaged skin. Otherwise, side effects characteristic of gentamicin during its system application are possible. Appropriate precautions should be followed in such cases, especially in the treatment of children.
With prolonged use of the drug, its abolition is recommended to be carried out gradually.
