Oral
As an antithrombotic
Adult: 1 capsule (containing 250 LSU) bid.
Parenteral
As an antithrombotic
Adult: IM/IV: 1 ampoule (containing 600 LSU) daily. Treatment may be started with parenteral form for 15-20 days, then continued with oral form for 30-40 days. Repeat treatment cycle for at least 2 times a yr.
It is generally suggested that ampules be used to start treatment and that after 15-20 days be continued with capsules for 30-40 days. The complete treatment cycle must be repeated at least twice yearly. Depending on the physician's evaluation, the quantity and frequency of the dosage may vary.
Capsule: 1-2 capsules twice daily, 30 min before meals.
Injection: 2 mL IM or IV daily.
Individual hypersensitivity towards Sulodexide, towards heparin and heparin-like products.
Diathesis and hemorrhagic diseases.
No interactions known
Nausea, vomiting, epigastralgia. Pain, burning sensation & haematoma at inj site. Rarely, sensitization w/ cutaneous reaction.
