Therapeutic indications

Dosage (Posology) and method of administration
40-60 mL by IV inj or IV drip infusion once daily. Dose may be adjusted depending on patient's age & symptom. Max daily dose: 100 mL.
Contraindications
Patient w/ aldosteronism, myopathy & hypopotassemia.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
Thiazide diuretics eg, ethiazide & trichlomethiazide; loop diuretics eg, ethacrynic acid & furosemide.
Undesirable effects
Shock, pseudoaldosteronism eg, severe hypopotassemia, HTN, body fluid & Na retention, edema, increased body wt; hypersensitivity.
