An indication is a term used for the list of condition or symptom or illness for which the medicine is prescribed or used by the patient. Emollients are substances that soften and moisturize the skin and decrease itching and flaking. Some products (e.g., zinc oxide, white petrolatum) are used mostly to protect the skin against irritation (e.g., from wetness).
Dry skin is caused by a loss of water in the upper layer of the skin. Emollients/moisturizers work by forming an oily layer on the top of the skin that traps water in the skin. Petrolatum, lanolin, mineral oil and dimethicone are common emollients. Humectants, including glycerin, lecithin, and propylene glycol, draw water into the outer layer of skin. Many products also have ingredients that soften the horny substance (keratin) that holds the top layer of skin cells together (e.g., urea, alpha hydroxy acids such as lactic/citric/glycolic acid, and allantoin). This helps the dead skin cells fall off, helps the skin keep in more water, and leaves the skin feeling smoother and softer.

Individualization Of Treatment
Severely indurated, sharply marginated and very superficial wrinkles may be difficult to distend and, therefore, are difficult to correct. If a defect cannot be distended because of extensive scarring or non-elastic tissue, the course of correction will be prolonged, if correction is achievable.
Touch-up implantations may be required in areas with greater motion or mechanical stress (e.g., nasolabial folds). All patients should be counseled to anticipate supplemental implantations to achieve and maintain optimal correction.
How supplied
Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel is supplied in individual treatment syringes with needles, and is packaged for single patient use, ready for injection (implantation). The contents of the syringe are sterile and non-pyrogenic. The volume markings on the syringe are for reference only.

Instructions For Use
- Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel is indicated for injection into the mid to deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). Prior to treatment with Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel, the patient should be fully apprised of the indications, contraindications, warnings, precautions, treatment responses, adverse reactions, and method of administration. Patients also should be advised that supplemental “touch-up implantations may be required to achieve and maintain maximum correction.
- A complete medical history, including allergies, should be obtained to determine whether the patient is an appropriate candidate for Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) treatment.
- The patient's soft tissue deficiencies should be characterized with regard to etiology, distensibility, stress at the site, and depth of lesion. Depending on the type of skin, best results are obtained when the defect is readily distensible and correction can be visualized by manual manipulation (stretching) of the skin. Pretreatment photographs are recommended.
Topical or injectable anesthesia may be used to manage pain during and after injection.
- After ensuring that the patient has thoroughly washed the treatment area with soap and water, the area should be swabbed with alcohol or other antiseptic. Prior to injecting Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel, depress the plunger rod until the product flows out of the needle.
- Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel is administered using a thin gauge needle (30G ½”). The injection technique with regard to the angle and orientation of the bevel, the depth of injection, and the quantity administered may vary. A linear threading technique, serial puncture injections, or a combination of the two have been used to achieve optimal results. Subderma! application should be avoided because such application may not provide optimal correction. If Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel is injected too deep, the duration of the effect will be shorter. If Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel is injected too superficially this may result in visible lumps and/or discoloration.
- Inject Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel applying even pressure on the plunger rod while slowly pulling the needle backwards. The wrinkle should be lifted and eliminated by the end of the injection. It is important that the injection is stopped just before the needle is pulled out of the skin to prevent material from leaking out or ending up too superficially in the skin.
- Only correct to 100% of the desired volume effect. Do not overcorrect. The degree and duration of the correction depend on the character of the defect treated, the tissue stress at the implant site, the depth of the implant in the tissue and the injection technique. Markedly indurated defects may be difficult to correct.
- If immediate blanching occurs, the injection should be stopped and the area massaged until it returns to a normal color.
- When injection is completed, the treated site should be gently massaged so that it conforms to the contour of the surrounding tissues. If an over correction has occurred, massage the area between your fingers or against an underlying superficial bone to obtain optima! results.
- if the wrinkle needs further treatment, the same procedure should be repeated until a satisfactory result is obtained. With patients who have localized swelling the degree of correction is sometimes difficult to judge at the time of treatment. In these cases, it is better to invite the patient to a touch-up session after 1-2 weeks.
- Patients may have mild to moderate injection site reactions, which typically resolve in a few days. If the treated area is swollen immediately after the injection, an ice pack can be applied to the site for a short period.
- After the initial treatment (from 1 to 2 weeks later), an additional treatment of Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel may be necessary to achieve the desired level of correction. The need for an additional treatment may vary from patient to patient and is dependent upon a variety of factors such as wrinkle severity, skin elasticity and dermal thickness at the treatment site.
- The physician should instruct the patient to promptly report to her/him any evidence of problems possibly associated with the use of Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel.

Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel should be stored at room temperature, 2°-30°C (36°-86°F). DO NOT FREEZE.

Carefully remove all cerumen and debris to allow VōSoL to contact infected surfaces directly. To promote continuous contact, insert a wick of cotton saturated with VōSoL into the ear canal; the wick may also be saturated after insertion. Instruct the patient to keep the wick in for at least 24 hours and to keep it moist by adding 3 to 5 drops of VōSoL every 4 to 6 hours. The wick may be removed after 24 hours but the patient should continue to instill 5 drops of VōSoL 3 or 4 times daily thereafter, for as long as indicated. In pediatric patients, 3 to 4 drops may be sufficient due to the smaller capacity of the ear canal.
Adult: Add the contents of 1-2 sachets to a glass of cool water and mix. Sodium Citrate (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) may be taken up to 4 times daily. Do not take for >5 days unless advised to do so by the physician.

Precautions
The use of Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) is contraindicated in patients with anuria. Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) should not be used in patients with suspected or documented fructose intolerance. Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) should not given by injection.
Sudden severe abdominal bloating and diarrhea have been reported in patients ingesting Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante).
Solutions for urologic irrigation should be used with caution in patients with severe cardiopulmonary or renal dysfunction.
Irrigating fluids used during transurethral prostatectomy have been demonstrated to enter the systemic circulation in relatively large volumes; thus Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) irrigating solution must be regarded as a systemic agent. Absorption of large amounts of fluids containing Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) may significantly alter cardiopulmonary and renal dynamics. Appropriate patient monitoring should be conducted due to the possibility of fluid overload. If fluid overload occurs, intensive fluid and electrolyte management should be initiated. Monitoring of fluid and electrolyte levels beyond the acute phase may be necessary due to the possibility of delayed fluid absorption.
Hyperglycemia from metabolism of absorbed Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) may be observed in patients with diabetes mellitus.
The cardiovascular status, especially of the patient with cardiac disease, should be carefully monitored before and during transurethral resection of the prostate when using 3% Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) urologic irrigating solution, because the quantity of fluid absorbed into the systemic circulation by opened prostatic veins may produce significant expansion of the intravascular fluid and lead to fulminating congestive heart failure.
Shift of sodium free intracellular fluid into the extracellular compartment, following systemic absorption could lower serum concentration and aggravate preexisting hyponatremia.
Excessive loss of water and electrolytes may lead to serious imbalances. With continuous use of solution, loss of water may occur in excess of electrolytes, producing hypernatremia.
Sustained diuresis that results from transurethral irrigation with Sorbitol (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) irrigating solutions could obscure and intensify inadequate hydration or hypovolemia.

While some medications can be stopped after few days, some drugs need to be continued for prolonged period to get the benefit from it.This medication is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (e.g., diaper rash, skin burns from radiation therapy).
Many products also have ingredients that soften the horny substance (keratin) that holds the top layer of skin cells together (e.g., urea, alpha hydroxy acids such as lactic/citric/glycolic acid, and Allantoin (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante)). This helps the dead skin cells fall off, helps the skin keep in more water, and leaves the skin feeling smoother and softer.

Use this product as directed. Some products require priming before use. Follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Some products need to be shaken before use. Check the label to see if you should shake the bottle well before using. Apply to the affected areas of the skin as needed or as directed on the label or by your doctor. How often you apply the medication will depend on the product and your skin condition. To treat dry hands, you may need to use the product every time you wash your hands, applying it throughout the day.
If you are using this product to help treat diaper rash, clean the diaper area well before use and allow the area to dry before applying the product.
If you are using this product to help treat radiation skin burns, check with radiation personnel to see if your brand can be applied before radiation therapy.
Follow all the directions on the label for proper use. Apply to the skin only. Avoid sensitive areas such as your eyes, inside your mouth/nose, and the vaginal/groin area, unless the label or your doctor directs you otherwise. Check the label for directions about any areas or types of skin where you should not apply the product (e.g., on the face, any areas of broken/chapped/cut/irritated/scraped skin, or on a recently shaved area of the skin). Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. Most moisturizers need water to work well. Apply the product after bathing/showering while the skin is still damp. For very dry skin, your doctor may instruct you to soak the area before using the product. Long, hot, or frequent bathing/washing can worsen dry skin.
If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

*Duration refers to number of days irrespective of onset of Adverse Event to the date of the study device implantation |
Device related adverse events occurred infrequently in both groups and were primarily of mild intensity; 2 patients (2%) experienced 3 events in the Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) group, and 9 patients (7%) experienced 14 events in the Zyplast group. The Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) device related adverse events were erythema, induration and pruritus.
Clinical trial adverse events unrelated to the injection procedure reported in the Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) treatment group occurring in greater than 1% of patients (n=133) were nasopharyngitis (5.3%), headache (4.5%), influenza (3.8%), rash (3%), conjunctivitis (1.5%), and sinusitis (1.5%).
Repeat Treatment Phase
During the initial and repeat treatment phases of the study, hylan B IgG antibody titers were measured at baseline and throughout treatment. Only one patient exhibited a positive antibody response after treatment with hylan B. This patient experienced adverse events of injection site bruising and headache lasting 11 days and 2 days after initial treatment, respectively. These adverse events were not reported as device-related and were not considered to be associated with the increased antibody titer level. None of the other study patients developed similar increases in antibody titer levels during the initial or repeat study phases.
Of the 133 patients treated with Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel during the initial phase, 96 underwent repeat treatment with Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) products and were followed for up to 4 weeks for safety. The types of adverse events seen after repeat treatment with Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) products were similar to those seen during the initial clinical evaluation. The most frequently reported adverse events included injection site erythema, bruising, swelling, pain, nodules, pruritus and tenderness. Device-related adverse events were reported in 3 patients during repeat treatment with Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) gel and included involuntary muscle contraction described as eye fasciculations in one patient and dizziness in another. A third patient experienced bilateral aseptic abscess formation at the site of injection, but did not develop increased hylan B antibody titers throughout either the initial or repeat phase of the study.
Surveillance outside the US
Hyaluronic Acid (Sebamed Clear Face Gel Facial Hidratante) post market safety surveillance in countries outside of the United States indicates that the most frequently reported adverse events include: injection site erythema, nodule, swelling, and induration. These adverse events are similar in frequency and duration to what has been noted during clinical trials.
