Sterile Water Purified (Rose Water Ointment) for Injection, USP is a hemolytic agent due to its hypotonicity. Therefore, it is contraindicated for intravenous administration without additives.

- Water Purified (Rose Water Ointment) is usually administered as an injection at your doctor's office, hospital, or clinic. If you are using Water Purified (Rose Water Ointment) at home, carefully follow the injection procedures taught to you by your health care provider.
- If you have refrigerated this product, allow it to reach room temperature before using.
- This product is to be mixed with certain medicines just prior to injection. Do not inject this product directly. This product cannot be mixed with all medicines. Use this product to mix only those medicines indicated by your doctor or pharmacist.
- If Water Purified (Rose Water Ointment) contains particles or is discolored, or if the vial is cracked or damaged in any way, do not use it.

The administration of a suitable admixture of prescribed additives may be associated with adverse reactions because of the solution or the technique of administration including febrile response, infection at the site of injection, venous thrombosis or phlebitis extending from the site of injection, extravasation, and hypervolemia.
If an adverse reaction does occur, discontinue the infusion, evaluate the patient, institute appropriate therapeutic countermeasures, and save the remainder of the fluid for examination if deemed necessary.
