Each capsule contains: Highly concentrated standardized ginseng extract G115 (made from roots of best quality of genuine Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) 40 mg, deanol bitartrate (equivalent to 9.7 mg deanol) 26 mg, retinol (Vitamin A (Pharmaton)) 4000 IU, thiamine HNO3 (vitamin B1) 2 mg, riboflavin (vitamin B2) 2 mg, pyridoxine HCl (vitamin B6) 1 mg, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 1 mcg, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C (Pharmaton)) 60 mg, ergocalciferol (vitamin D) 400 IU, all-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E (Pharmaton)) 10 mg, nicotinamide (vitamin B3) 15 mg, Calcium (Pharmaton) pantothenate 10 mg, rutoside 20 mg, Iron (Pharmaton) 10 mg, Calcium (Pharmaton) 90.3 mg, phosphorus 70 mg, fluorine 0.2 mg, Copper (Pharmaton) 1 mg, potassium 8 mg, manganese 1 mg, Magnesium (Pharmaton) 10 mg, Zinc (Pharmaton) 1 mg; choline, inositol, linoleic acid and linolenic acid (contained as Lecithin (Pharmaton)) 66 mg. It also contains the following excipients: Lactose (monohydrate), silica (colloidal anhydrous), wax mixture, rapeseed oil, ethyl vanillin, arachis oil, gelatine, glycerol 85%, sodium propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium ethyl-p-hydroxybenzoate, Iron (Pharmaton) oxide black (E172) and red (E172), purified water.
To improve mental capacity eg, lack of concentration, reduced attention and decreased mental responsiveness.
During periods of exhaustion (fatigue) through stress, tiredness or weakness.

Adults: Recommended Dose: 1 cap taken with food, preferably at breakfast. Children <12 years: Not recommended for use. Elderly: There are no special dosage recommendations.
Patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Pharmaton. People who are suffering from disturbances of Calcium (Pharmaton) metabolism (eg, hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria), with hypervitaminosis A or D, with renal insufficiency, during therapy with retinoids (eg, against acne), or vitamin D. Patients with a history of allergy to soya and peanuts.
In case of rare hereditary conditions that may be incompatible with the excipient, the use of Pharmaton is contraindicated. It contains 26 mg of lactose per maximum recommended daily dose. Patients with the rare hereditary condition of galactose intolerance ie, galactosemia should not take Pharmaton.
It contains the excipients ethyl parahydroxy benzoate and propyl parahydroxy benzoate, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
In case of concomitant intake of ginseng preparations and anticoagulants, the effect of oral blood thinning medication (eg, warfarin) may potentially be reduced. Patients on blood thinning medicines should seek medical advice before starting on Pharmaton.
Interactions of Iron (Pharmaton) with tetracycline antibiotics (tetracycline, doxycycline and minocycline), vitamin B6 and L-dopa are known. Patients on any of these medications should seek medical advice before starting Pharmaton.
Constipation, diarrhea, or upset stomach may occur. These effects are usually temporary and may disappear as your body adjusts to this medication. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
If your doctor has prescribed this drug, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
