Ob Max tablet is a special nutritional supplement formulated to provide maximum nutrient values to the pregnant mother and the rapidly developing baby in her womb. Incorporated into each tablet of Ob Max are substantial amounts of the important nutrients required for a successful gestation and delivery. A daily dose of Ob Max tablet is also ideal and requisite for the lactating mother, the benefits consequently passed on to the breast-fed infant.
Ob Max tablet is coated with a layered enteric crust which protects its contents from premature degradation by the gastric acid but allows maximum absorption in the intestinal tract. This special coating also masks the non-palatable tastes of the constituted ingredients, thus contributing to high dosage compliance among patients.

Cap 1 cap once-bid. Syr Adult 5-10 mL tid. Childn Treatment 2 mg Fe/kg body wt tid. Prophylaxis 1 mg Fe/kg body wt tid. Drops Prevention 0.3-0.6 mL daily. Therapeutic 1 mL tid.
Hypersensitivity to Ob Max.
Combination therapy with aldosterone antagonist and triamterene may cause hypercalcemia.
Patients with hypercalcemia, hyperkalemia, sarcoidosis, nephrolithiasis, severe renal failure, Wilson's disease, hematochromatosis and those taking oral tetracyclines, antacids, phosphates and levodopa.
Infants <1 year.
Do not administer before and after drinking teas containing tannins.
Concomitant administration of tetracycline and some antacids may decrease the amount of iron absorbed and similarly, iron may retard the absorption of tetracyclines. These products should not be taken within 2 hrs. of each other. Food reduces the absorption of iron but will lessen gastric irritation.
Discontinue administration of Ob Max and consult a doctor if the following symptoms occur: Pruritus, eruption, flare, erythema, xeroderma, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, epigastric distress, anorexia, abdominal distention, epigastralgia, photosensitivity, convulsion, fever, coma, asystole, CNS dysfunction, hyperkalemia, pulmonary edema and urticaria.
May cause acceleration of menstruation and menorrhagic extension of anovulatory menstrual cycle; thrombosis or thrombotic predisposition in patients concomitantly taking oral contraceptives; nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure and edema when administered at high doses; hypercalcemia and nephrolithiasis on long-term use.
