Understanding Neurofeed
Neurofeed is a therapeutic approach based on the principles of neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback. It is a non-invasive process designed to help individuals learn how to self-regulate their brain activity by providing real-time information about their physiological functions.

The process involves monitoring electrical activity in the brain through sensors placed on the scalp. This activity is translated into visual or auditory signals that the individual can observe. By receiving this immediate feedback, the brain can gradually learn to modify its patterns. This learning process is rooted in operant conditioning, where the brain is rewarded for reaching and maintaining specific frequency ranges or states of activation.
Purpose and Application
Neurofeed is primarily used to address imbalances in brainwave patterns that may be associated with various cognitive or emotional states. The goal is to improve the brain's self-regulation capacity, enhancing its ability to transition between states of focus, relaxation, and alertness more efficiently.

The Experience

If the brain activity shifts outside the target range, the feedback changes, prompting the brain to return to a more regulated state. This process is passive and does not involve the introduction of electrical currents into the brain.
