Treatment of latent & manifest Fe deficiency. Prevention of Fe & folic acid deficiency before, during & after pregnancy. Prophylaxis of Fe deficiency to cover the recommended daily dietary allowance during pregnancy & lactation, childn, adolescents, women of child bearing potential & adult (eg, vegetarian & elderly).
Fe deficiency 1 tab 2-3 times daily until normal Hb value is achieved, continue w/ 1 tab daily until the end of pregnancy. Latent Fe deficiency & prevention of Fe & folic acid deficiency 1 tab daily.

GI irritation eg, sensation of repletion, pressure in the epigastric region, nausea, constipation, diarrhea. Dark coloration of the stool.
