Calendula tincture has antiseptic, choleretic, antispasmodic and local anti-inflammatory effects.
It is used externally as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent for cuts, bruises, eczema, locally-for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the pharynx (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis) and the oral mucosa (stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis).
Inside the tincture of calendula is used for cholecystitis, cholangitis.
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.
When used orally-acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the period of exacerbation, calculous cholecystitis, pregnancy, lactation, age up to 18 years.
With caution - liver diseases, alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, brain diseases.
Externally, topically, internally. Areas with superficial skin injuries (cuts) are treated with tincture with a tampon. For bruises and eczema, an aqueous solution of tincture (1 teaspoon per glass of water) is used in the form of lotions. To gargle the throat and oral mucosa, use ½ - 1 cup of an aqueous solution of tincture.
Inside, apply 10 to 20 drops, diluted in ¼ cup of water before meals 3 times a day.
Possible allergic reactions (including skin itching). When taken orally - heartburn, nausea, bitterness in the mouth, increased abdominal pain.

The absolute alcohol content in the maximum single dose of the drug is 0.23 g, in the maximum daily dose-0.7 g.
