With caution: cardiovascular diseases (arterial hypertension, arrhythmias, generalized atherosclerosis), thyroid diseases, angle-closure glaucoma, prostate adenoma, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. As with the use of any local vasoconstrictors, care should be taken when prescribing Vibrocil® patients with severe reactions to sympathomimetics (for example, with the development of insomnia and dizziness).
Rarely-mild and transient local reactions from the nasal mucosa (burning sensation or dryness).
Symptoms: in case of accidental intake of Vibrocil® no serious side effects were observed in young children. Combined preparation containing phenylephrine and dimetinden.
Phenylephrine-sympathomimetic agent, when applied topically, has a moderate vasoconstrictor effect (due to the stimulation of alpha1- adrenoreceptors located in the venous vessels of the nasal mucosa), eliminates edema of the nasal mucosa and its paranasal sinuses.
Dimethindene is an anti-allergic agent-an antagonist of histamine H1- receptors, does not reduce the activity of the ciliated epithelium of the nasal mucosa.
Vibrocil® it is intended for topical use, its activity does not depend on the concentration of active substances in the blood plasma.
Phenylephrine (as well as other vasoconstrictors) is contraindicated in patients receiving MAO inhibitors at this time or who received them during the previous 2 weeks.
Do not prescribe the drug simultaneously with tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers.
