Therapeutic indications
Conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, dacryocystitis, including in children. Trachoma. Chlamydia of the visual organs. Prevention of neonatal eye infection.
Dosage (Posology) and method of administration
Conjunctivally, 1 drop 3-8 times a day (in the initial stage of treatment, the dose may be increased), with trachoma, 1 drop 4 times a day for 2 months. With the simultaneous use of other eye drops, the interval is at least 15 minutes. Do not touch the eye with the bottle. Carefully close the bottle after use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Undesirable effects
Allergic reactions, eczema.
Pharmacokinetic properties
Oxytetracycline does not pass well through the intact cornea.
