Epinastine (Torex) ophthalmic (eye) solution is used to prevent itching of the eye caused by a condition known as allergic conjunctivitis. It works by preventing the effects of certain inflammatory substances, which are produced by cells in your eyes and sometimes cause allergic reactions.
Epinastine (Torex) is available only with your doctor's prescription.
Relieving minor pain caused by conditions such as arthritis, backache, bruising, bursitis, cramping, muscle strains or sprains, and tendonitis. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Menthol (Torex) lotion is a topical analgesic. It works by temporarily relieving minor pain.
Citric acid and Sodium Citrate (Torex) are both alkalinizing agents that make the urine less acidic.
The combination of citric acid and Sodium Citrate (Torex) is used to prevent gout or kidney stones, or metabolic acidosis in people with kidney problems.

Ammonium Chloride (Torex) Injection, USP is administered intravenously and must be diluted before use. Solutions for intravenous infusion should not exceed a concentration of 1% to 2% of Ammonium Chloride (Torex).
Dosage is dependent upon the condition and tolerance of the patient. It is recommended that the contents of one to two vials (100 to 200 mEq) be added to 500 or 1000 mL of isotonic (0.9%) sodium chloride injection. The rate of intravenous infusion should not exceed 5 mL per minute in adults (approximately 3 hours for infusion of 1000 mL). Dosage should be monitored by repeated serum bicarbonate determinations.
Parenteral drug products should be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration, whenever solution and container permit. See PRECAUTIONS.

Ammonium Chloride (Torex) is contraindicated in patients with severe impairment of renal or hepatic function.
Ammonium Chloride (Torex) should not be administered when metabolic alkalosis due to vomiting of hydrochloric acid is accompanied by loss of sodium (excretion of sodium bicarbonate in the urine).

Renal failure or hypernatremia; in conjunction with hexamine mandelate or hexamine hippurate therapy because an acidic urine is needed.
Caution is advised in overt and occult cardiac failure. Concomitant use of urinary alkalinizers and quinolone antibiotics should be avoided. Crystalluria may be more likely to occur in alkaline urine.

- Epinastine (Torex) is only for the eye. Do not get it in your nose or mouth.
- Remove contact lenses before you use Epinastine (Torex).
- To use Epinastine (Torex) in the eye, first, wash your hands. Tilt your head back. Using your index finger, pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to form a pouch. Drop the medicine into the pouch and gently close your eyes. Immediately use your finger to apply pressure to the inside corner of the eyelid for 1 to 2 minutes. Do not blink. Remove excess medicine around your eye with a clean tissue, being careful not to touch your eye. Wash your hands to remove any medicine that may be on them.
- To prevent germs from contaminating your medicine, do not touch the applicator tip to any surface, including your eye. Keep the container tightly closed.
- If you miss a dose of Epinastine (Torex), use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.

Data from several small randomized, controlled trials support the use of regional Sodium Citrate (Torex) to reduce the risk of clot formation in continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) circuits, thus prolonging circuit life and avoiding interruptions in therapy. It should be noted that patients with high bleeding risk, severe coagulopathy, metabolic abnormalities, or liver dysfunction were excluded from these trials.
In a treatment, patients should be monitored closely for signs of ammonia poisoning: pallor, sweating, irregular breathing, vomiting, bradycardia, arrhythmias, tremors, convulsions and coma.
Ammonium Chloride (Torex) should be used with caution in patients with heart and lung failure.
A longer-term correction of a hypochloraemia in patients with secondary metabolic alkalosis due to an intracellular potassium depletion can not be achieved by the sole administration of Ammonium Chloride (Torex). Concomitant administration of potassium is also necessary.

Some products that may interact with this drug include: antihistamines applied to the skin (such as diphenhydramine cream, ointment, spray), antispasmodics (e.g., atropine, belladonna alkaloids), drugs for Parkinson's disease (e.g., anticholinergics such as benztropine, trihexyphenidyl), scopolamine, tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline).
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you also take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: certain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine), medicine for sleep or anxiety (e.g., alprazolam, diazepam, zolpidem), muscle relaxants, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., chlorpromazine, risperidone, amitriptyline, trazodone). Check the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they may contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask your pharmacist about the safe use of those products.
Chlorpheniramine (Torex) is very similar to dexchlorpheniramine. Do not use medications containing dexchlorpheniramine while using Chlorpheniramine (Torex).
This medication may interfere with certain laboratory tests (including Chlorpheniramine (Torex) skin testing), possibly causing false test results. Make sure laboratory personnel and all your doctors know you use this drug.
When this drug applied simultaneously with:
- other NSAIDs increases the risk of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract and bleeding
- antihypertensive drugs (including those with beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, diuretics) it may decreases their actions
- aspirin may decrease the binding of ketoprofen to plasma proteins and increase its plasma clearance
- heparin, ticlopidine increase risk of bleeding
- lithium therapy - it may increase the concentration of lithium in blood plasma to the toxic by reducing its renal excretion
- diuretics increases the risk of renal failure due to a decrease in renal blood flow caused by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, and against the background of hypovolemia
- probenecid it may decreases the clearance of ketoprofen and its binding to plasma proteins
- methotrexate - may increase the side effects of methotrexate
- warfarin may develop severe, sometimes fatal bleeding.
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: blood thinners.

General: Alkalinization of the urine due to the use of Sodium Citrate (Torex), theoretically, may result in a decreased therapeutic effect of the following medications: Chlorpropamide, lithium, salicylates and tetracyclines. Alternatively, alkalinization of the urine due to the use of Sodium Citrate (Torex), theoretically, may result in an increased therapeutic effect of the following medications: Amphetamines, ephedrine/pseudoephedrine.
Antacids: Concurrent use of antacids with citrates may result in systemic alkalosis. Concomitant administration of antacids with Sodium Citrate (Torex) and sodium bicarbonate may promote the development of calcium stones in patients with uric acid stones and may also cause hypernatremia. Concurrent use of aluminum-containing antacids with citrate salts can increase aluminum absorption, possibly resulting in acute aluminum toxicity, especially in patients with renal insufficiency.
Quinolones: Citrates may reduce the solubility of ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin or ofloxacin in the urine. Patients should be observed for signs of crystalluria and nephrotoxicity.
Laxatives: Concurrent administration of citrates with laxatives may have an additive effect.

Rapid intravenous administration of Ammonium Chloride (Torex) may be accompanied by pain or irritation at the site of injection or along the venous route.
Reactions which may occur because of the solution or the technique of administration include febrile response, infection at the site of injection, venous thrombosis or phlebitis extending from the site of injection, extravasation and hypervolemia (from large volume diluent).
If an adverse reaction does occur, discontinue the infusion, evaluate the patient, institute appropriate therapeutic countermeasures and save the remainder of the fluid for examination if deemed necessary.

Menthol (Torex) is a covalent organic compound made synthetically or obtained from peppermint or other mint oils. It is a waxy, crystalline substance, clear or white in color, which is solid at room temperature and melts slightly above. The main form of Menthol (Torex) occurring in nature is (-)-Menthol (Torex), which is assigned the (1R,2S,5R) configuration. Menthol (Torex) has local anesthetic and counterirritant qualities, and it is widely used to relieve minor throat irritation.
Each 4 g of Sodium Citrate (Torex) contains sodium bicarbonate 1760 mg, anhydrous Sodium Citrate (Torex) 630 mg, anhydrous citric acid 720 mg and tartaric acid 890 mg.
It also contains the following excipients: Nature identical lemon flavor oil, terpeneless and sodium saccharin.
Sodium Citrate (Torex) consists of formulation and pleasantly flavored granules. When added to water, Sodium Citrate (Torex) effervesces and dissolves, forming a clear or orange-colored alkaline solution.
