Miconazole (Tara-Plus), an antifungal agent, is used for skin infections such as athlete’s foot and jock itch and for vaginal yeast infections.
This medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Apply to the affected area bid-tid.
Skin TB infection, herpes simplex, vaccinia, all forms of varicella.
There are no known drug interactions with vaginal or topical Miconazole (Tara-Plus).
Miconazole (Tara-Plus) may cause side effects. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:
increased burning, itching, or irritation of the skin or vagina.
stomach pain.
fever.
foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
