Eye drops
Conjunctival, 1-2 drops 3-4 times a day or according to the individual prescription of the attending physician.
Terms of use of the bottle
1. Following the existing notches on the aluminum capsule of the bottle, tear off the upper circumference of the capsule, and then — the side.
2. Remove the cap from the bottle and adjust the tank to it.
3. Push the red cap of the tank into the bottle, and then shake the bottle vigorously to dissolve the powder in it.
4. Remove the tank completely and put the dropper (pipette) on the bottle. Remove the cap from the dropper (pipette) and, turning the bottle over, squeeze out a drop.
Eye ointment: put in the lower conjunctival arch 3-4 times a day. When combined with the use of eye drops, it is enough to use eye ointment 1 time at night.

Eye drops contain sodium sulfite, this component of the drug can provoke allergic reactions and severe asthma attacks in people who are sensitive to it (especially asthmatics).
Since rare cases of bone marrow hypoplasia have been reported due to prolonged topical use of chloramphenicol, the drug should be used for short periods of time and under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.
Prolonged topical use of antibiotics may cause symptoms of local irritation (short-term conjunctival hyperemia). Cases of hypersensitivity symptoms in the form of burning, angioedema, urticaria, bullous and spot-papular dermatitis have been reported, which requires discontinuation of the drug.

Chloramphenicol - broad-spectrum antibiotic, inhibits the synthesis of proteins of sensitive microorganisms, is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma spp., Ricketsia spp., Chlamydia spp., not active in relation to Pseudomonas aeruginosa, mushrooms.
Tetracycline - broad-spectrum antibiotic, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the RNA level, has a bacteriostatic effect. It is active against Gram-negative bacteria, Chlamydia spp., Mycoplasma spp., Ricketsia spp., Entamoeba histolytica. The resistance of microorganisms develops slowly.
Colistin - an antibiotic that is isolated from Bacillus polymyxa (var. colistinus). It has a bactericidal effect on most Gram-negative bacteria (including Pseudomonas spp., Haemophilus spp.), active against fungi. There is no cross-resistance with broad-spectrum antibiotics, with which colistin shows synergy.

Contraindicated in pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be discontinued for the duration of treatment.
