Disposal

Expired or unused Amoxicillin should be disposed of safely through a medication take-back program when available. If a program is not accessible, the product may be discarded in the household trash after mixing with an undesirable substance, following official regulatory guidelines. The medicine must not be disposed of via wastewater (i.e., flushing down the toilet).
