I created Pillintrip.com many years ago after facing a simple yet serious problem: while abroad, I couldn’t quickly find local equivalents of familiar medications — not for myself, not for loved ones, not even for my dog. The search took hours: reading forums, translating instructions, matching names and active ingredients.
That’s how the idea was born — to build a simple, user-friendly, and free service that helps people find medication alternatives around the world. No fluff, no confusion — just the right information, in the right language, at the right time.
Since then, the project has grown from two pages into a large-scale international resource with tens of thousands of daily visitors. Today, Pillintrip is powered by a team of pharmacists, editors, developers, and translators.
My goal is to help you feel calm and confident when it comes to your health — wherever you are in the world. I write the content on this site based on my experience as a traveler, a hands-on problem-solver, and the founder of a health-focused platform built for real-world use.
